Data We Collect

• •Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and display name.
• •Profile data: Optional information you provide on your account page, such as display preferences.
• •Tool data: Data you create while using the tools, such as saved ship fittings and feedback submissions. Feedback submissions may optionally include an in-game character name and screenshot URL.
• •Activity data: We log anonymous, aggregated activity events (such as which tools are being used) to show recent activity on the home page. These logs do not contain personal identifiers.

How We Use Your Data

• •To provide and maintain the tools and calculators you use.
• •To respond to feedback and improve the platform based on what is being used.
• •To display anonymised, aggregated recent activity so visitors can see what the community is doing.
• •To secure the platform and prevent abuse.

Activity Tracking

• •When you visit a tool page while logged in, we record a single anonymous event per activity type per browser session. This event contains only the activity type, tool name, and a verb — no personal information, no IP address, and no user ID is stored in the activity log.
• •This data is aggregated to show counts like “3 people have recently been calculating ore values.” It is never used to identify or track individual users.

Third-Party Services

• •Google OAuth: If you choose to sign in with Google, Google handles the authentication process. We receive your email and name from Google but do not access or store your Google password.
• •EVE Online ESI: Some tools fetch publicly available data from CCP Games’ ESI API (such as market prices and system information). This data is fetched server-side and is not linked to your EVE Online account.
• •We do not use advertising networks, sell data to third parties, or share your information with marketers.

Data Storage and Retention

• •Your account data and tool data (such as saved fittings) are stored securely and retained for as long as your account is active.
• •You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account page.
• •Anonymous activity logs are retained temporarily for aggregation and are periodically pruned.

Your Rights

• •Access: You can view your profile and saved data from the Account page.
• •Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Account page. This action cannot be undone.
• •Opt-out of tracking: Activity tracking only applies to logged-in users. Using the tools as a guest means no activity is logged.

Children's Privacy

• •JaguarLee's Toolbox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

• •We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
